John Fraser
President and COO
ASM Research, Inc.
Mr. Fraser joined ASM Research, Inc. in 1986, and has performed a variety of management roles for the past 24 years culminating in his current position as President and Chief Operating Officer (COO). Throughout his career with ASM, he held positions such as Task Leader, Program to Senior Program Manager and Vice President to Chief Operating Officer, and now President and COO. Mr. Fraser was formerly the Senior Program Manager for the Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS), ASM’s largest and longest-standing contract. Today, Mr. Fraser is actively involved in directing the growth of the company and was integrally involved in ASM's first corporate acquisition, Century Consultants Ltd., in 2008.
Mr. Fraser has over 25 years of experience designing, developing, and sustaining training-related systems and four additional years serving at a military training facility as a Non-Commissioned Officer. He holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Decisions Sciences Management from George Mason University. Mr. Fraser communicates with clients throughout the Army community, and provides high-level oversight for contracts supporting the DoD, Army, Air Force, Navy, Department of Homeland Security, and Department of Justice.
Today, Mr. Fraser provides critical leadership essential to delivering world-class quality to ASM’s customers and employees. As President and COO, he inspires exceptionally high levels of performance from his team. Mr. Fraser is responsible for the entire entity of ASM, every department reports to him directly where he effectively delegates and manages each critical area of the company. Mr. Fraser is responsible for ensuring ASM’s strategies are implemented successfully, that sufficient human, financial, and technological resources are available to fulfill ASM’s mission, as well as bridge the necessary business relationships and organizational structures. Mr. Fraser continues to leverage his military background to support Government contracts that serve our nation's troops in the field.
